NEW INVESTMENT AT OUR PRACTICE

PATIENT PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT

We are delighted to announce that following an extensive effort by the practice over the last few years we have finally been granted approval by NHS England for a Practice extension.

From NHS England's Primary Care Infrastructure Fund, we have been given a grant for two thirds of the cost of this project - 279142.00.  The remainder of the cost is being met by the practice.  We are aiming to complete this project by August 2017.

We appreciate that you as patients have been very supportive of the practice over the years - modernisation and extension is long overdue.

This will enable us to update and modernise the practice for you.  We will also be able to provide you with better access, more appointments and additional services.

THE ESTATE AND TECHNOLOGY TRANSFORMATION FUND IS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE GP PREMISES AND TECHNLOGY TO GIVE PATIENTS A BETTER SERVICE.

New Patient Registration

handwriting_from_screenThe doctors welcome new patients who live within our practice area.  As it often takes sometime for records to be forwarded from your former practice all newly registered patients will be asked to complete a health questionnaire and are offered a consultation with the doctor.

Medical treatment is available from the date of registration.  Please contact reception for further information.

Security of your medical record is important to us, therefore, need to bring :

  • Proof of identity Eg. Passport
  • NHS Medical card if available
  • Proof of address Eg Utility bills less than 3 months old but not a mobile phone bill.

Every member of the family needs to be registered before seeking medical assistance. The process may take a few weeks, and we will inform you when to call back to proceed.

New Patient Checks

These checks are designed to ensure that practice has all the information needed to offer you the best possible personalised care. Upon registration, you will be offered an appointment with the Nurse for Health-check. You will be requested to bring your medication, a fresh urine sample and any immunisation or vaccine cards you may have for this appointment.
