Health Promotion
Everyone between 16-74 years of age is requested to see their doctor at least once in 3 years and over 75 years annually.
Every female between 25-64 years is required to have a cervical smear every 3 years.
We strongly encourage full immunisation of all children in the Practice.
If you keep active, watch your weight, take care of your diet, don’t smoke and drink in moderation, you may not need to see a doctor at all.
Test Results
Please call between 12:30 pm and 13:00 pm to enquire about your test results as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request between these times.
Note that the Practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.
It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if you are advised to do so.
If you are having tests or investigations done privately, please make sure that any results or notes are also sent to your GP.
